STUDY AT IMB SCHOOL
MASTER’S, POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMAS AND SPECIALIST COURSES
IMB School’s qualifications are structured in 3 categories (master’s, postgraduate diplomas and specialist courses).
Thanks to the modular nature of IMB School’s training, your qualifications can be upgraded as you accumulate more modules. The qualifications will depend on the number of ECTS completed and the type of modules. Once you have reached the number of ECTS required for each qualification, you can claim the corresponding diploma.
Master’s qualifications that include at least the Make It Happen module are proprietary qualifications issued jointly by:
The collaboration between IMB School and the Centro Superior de Música de la Fundació Conservatori del Liceu responds to a shared vision of providing artists and managers with the best preparation in all aspects related to the development of musical projects and organisations. As well as the desire to extend the scope of specialised training in the field of business to all the artistic sensibilities that make up the world of music.
The names of the programmes:
- All Music Business Management programmes include at least the Make It Happen module.
- All Music Business Mindset programmes include at least the Know-How module.

CERTIFICATES
The completion of each module leads to obtaining a specific certificate that corresponds to the typology, the learning methodology and the workload of each module. There are two types of certificate:
Certificate of Knowledge Acquisition
Every time a student completes a module under Active Online Learning methodology, they will receive a digital certificate to validate the acquisition of the specific knowledge provided in each module.
These are the modules Advanced Principles, Legal Aspects and Historical Analysis.
ADMISSIONS
To access any of IMB School’s master’s programmes, postgraduate programmes or specialisation courses, is required a prior admission process that begins with the application form.

Applying as soon as possible to any of the recommended programmes has the following benefits:
Early access to AOL content:
As soon as you apply and pay the enrolment fee for a recommended programme, you can start studying any of the AOL modules included in the programme (Advanced Principles, Historical Analysis and/or Legal Aspects) without having to wait until the start of the programme. This is a great advantage as it allows you to start the larger modules in a more relaxed way.
Access to early payment discounts
We offer early bird discounts to students who complete the application for admission in advance.
Access to scholarships
Collaborating entities offer scholarships of €3,000 for Master’s programs and €1,000 for the Postgraduate Diploma.

Admission Requirements
Admission requirements vary according to the modules included in the programme.
Entry requirements for any programme that includes the Know-How, Business Planning and/or the Professional Development modules:
- Have a high level in English.
- Hold a higher education diploma (university, college, vocational school, artistic school, etc.).
Exceptionally, we will allow access to the admission process to any candidate who does not comply with point 2, as long as they are over 18 years of age and can demonstrate maturity and a minimum of 2 years of dedication to a project (artistic or business) related to music.
Entry requirements for any programme that includes the Make It Happen module:
- Have a high level in English and Spanish.
- Hold a higher education diploma (university, college, vocational school, artistic school, etc.).
Exceptionally, we will allow access to the admission process to any candidate who does not comply with point 2, as long as they are over 22 years of age and can demonstrate maturity and professional experience of at least 2 years in the music sector, or 3 years in any other sector.
Admission Process
1) The process starts the moment the candidate pays the €100 admission fee (this amount will be deducted from the final amount of the tuition fee, or refunded in case of non-admission).
2) Once the payment has been made, an email will be sent to start the admission process. In order for the admission application to be successfully completed, the candidate must comply with the given instructions in each of the following 4 steps:
a) Fill in the form with personal, academic and professional information.
b) Send the following documentation:

- Cover letter or video.
- Curriculum vitae (the admissions department may subsequently request a copy of any of the qualifications).
- Scanned copy of the ID card or passport.
- Passport size photo (jpg format).
- Documentary veracity agreement completed and signed.

c) Select the desired module(s).
d) Sign the General Terms and Conditions.
3) Conduct a personal interview with the Academic Board of the programme you are applying (there might be more than one depending on the programme).
4) Send the admission letter: IMB School will personally communicate via email to each candidate the result of the admission process. If admitted, the candidate will receive a letter with the name of all the modules that they have been admitted to, together with the rest of the necessary information to start the enrolment process and depending on the case, apply for visas. In the event of not being admitted, the candidate may reapply for admission in the next edition.
Registration
The registration process:
- Reservation – If the letter of admission is received more than 30 days before the start date of the module, the option to make a reservation will be given by paying 25% of the total amount of the tuition fee. The information required to make this first payment is given together with the admission letter.
- Enrolment – The enrolment process ends with the payment of the remaining amount, which will be the result of deducting the amounts already paid for admission and reservation fees from the total amount of the registration. In addition, promotional and early-bird payment discounts may also be applied.The deadline for enrolment is 10 days before the start of the module. Only for those who have been admitted in the last round of admission (see this table), will the registration deadline be the day before the start of the module.
FINANCING
Thanks to our partnership with Fintonic and Confía, students of IMB School programmes have the possibility to get financing conditions to pay their enrolment fees in instalments.
How does the funding application process work?
Conditions for applying for financing
- The candidate must be over 18 years of age.
- The candidate must be the holder of a Spanish bank account. The account must be at least 6 months old.
- The bank account must be where the payroll or recurring income is paid into.
How does the application process work with Fintonic?
FINTONIC - APPLICATION PROCESS
- Loan processing takes about 5 minutes.
- You can apply for a loan between €1,000 to €50,000, with a variable NIR from 4.65% NIR (4.75% APR) to a maximum of 19.95% NIR (21.95% APR), to be repaid over a period of 6 to 96 months. These financing conditions depend on your financial capacity score or FinScore.
- Fintonic calculates your financial capability or FinScore with your main bank account information, which you will need to add to Fintonic after registering. It is a 100% secure process that takes less than a minute. Adding your account is also necessary to validate your details and get your online loan with Fintonic.
- The financing offer is indicative, non-binding and has to be approved by the financial institution offering the personal loan after the necessary checks have been carried out.
- For your security, Fintonic may request some documents to identify you or ensure that you are the account holder from which the FinScore is obtained. You can get your fast online loan without paperwork, just a digital version, a photo or screenshot will do.
- Requirements to be met to obtain a loan through Fintonic: When you apply for a loan, it is important to meet the requirements of the financial institutions. Each financial institution has different requirements, which is why it is important to apply through Fintonic. The requirements that the entities analyse before granting you the loan include your level of income and your length of employment, your previous level of debt, that you are not in default files for having had defaults in the past, as well as other variables such as whether you own a home and your type of employment contract. In any case, at Fintonic they work to find the best loan adapted to your profile, whatever your situation.

How does the application process work with Confía?
CONFÍA - APPLICATION PROCESS
All procedures are carried out online via the Confía website (zank.com.es), without the need to travel.
Confía carries out an evaluation by bank scoring. IMB School is not responsible for the evaluation or approval of applications. The decision is the sole responsibility of Confía. IMB School is not responsible for the conditions signed and agreed with Confía.
The financing options offered vary from 3 months, 6 months, 12 months or up to 5 years. Monthly repayments are paid at an APR of 9.95%.
There is a set-up fee, which is paid in a single payment in the first month. From the 2nd month onwards, monthly payments are made.
