+ What are the admission requirements for the programme?
The admission requirements for the Master’s Plus in Music Business Management are:
- High level of English and Spanish.
- Meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Have a Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (in any discipline or area of study), or have a qualification in Higher Music, Sound Engineering, or Higher Education Technician.
- Be at least 22 years old, be able to demonstrate maturity, and have professional experience of at least 2 years in the music sector or 3 years in any other sector.
+ What is the payment method? Are there financing options?
If you are admitted, you will have 15 days to pay the reservation fee, which corresponds to 25% of the total tuition fee. You can make the remaining payments in instalments, in the amounts and quotas you desire, as long as the course has been fully paid for 2 weeks before the start of classes. You can also finance up to €6,000 during your studies with SeQura, subject to commission. Additionally, if you enrol early, you can access early bird discounts. IMB School has a scholarship programme in collaboration with its Scholarship Partners, such as Sony Music, Primavera Sound, Cruïlla, AGEDI, AIE and SGAE, to support the talent of students who need financial assistance. You can find more detailed information on our scholarships page.
+ How does the internship programme work? Are they compulsory?
The internship programme is extracurricular, meaning they are not compulsory. Students access them through the IMB Network platform, which compiles offers from over 100 collaborating companies in the sector. This allows students to apply their knowledge in a real working environment in companies such as Sony Music Spain, BMAT Music Innovators, or Primavera Sound.
+ What career opportunities do graduates of the Master’s Plus programme have? What is the employment rate?
IMB School training is designed to prepare students for a wide variety of roles in the music industry in areas such as music management (personal manager, tour manager, booking agent), recorded music (A&R, digital marketing, label manager), live music (concert promoter director, booker, production), and music publishing (publishing director, synchronisations).
About the employment rate, 80% of Master’s students find work in the sector within 6 months of graduating.
